He is currently working for The Daily Star newspaper, the largest English daily in Bangladesh from past 7 years. Kazi has extensively reported and worked with a diverse range of minority communities in Bangladesh, - including the Dalits, Bihari, community of migrant tea workers, indigenous communities, hijra and other intersections of queer communities - in order to amplify their voices and ensure their basic human rights in the country. He co-founded "Bangladeshi Photographers (BP)" - the first online photography platform of Bangladesh in 2005. He has also co-founded "Moncho", a story telling platform that brings up discussions around religion, gender, sex, sexuality and policies in Bangladesh. Kazi is also the manager, photo-artist and curator of the "Masculinity Project", a photo narrative that captures the different expressions of masculinity in Bangladesh and encourages conversations around the construction of masculinity in the country. He has completed 2 solo exhibitions in Bangladesh and participated, curated, organized over 20 group exhibitions, numerous art workshops, photo-walks and knowledge based productions in Bangladesh and abroad.
